Perfect Start-Up

As our sliding vane technology doesn’t depend on centrifugal force, springs, pins, or airflow to position the vanes, those are always kept in position even when the motor is idle. This particularity has a tremendous effect when setting the motor in motion, delivering outstanding initial torque amounts and perfect start-ups.
Furthermore, due to the magnetic vane positioning system, motors with Magnevane technology can be mounted on every single position, as gravity does not affect it on anyway.

It is in the distribution network that most air losses occur and the most effective way to reduce those losses is to lower the pressure. Magnevane reaches the performance of standard air motors at lower pressure thus allowing to reduce the compressed air network pressure and consequently diminish energy loss.

As Magnevane’s rotor technology does not resort to mechanical devices such as springs or pins, therefore it is not necessary to reserve space for them, our vanes have a higher wear thickness, meaning that they have a longer life cycle.

As with the air consumption ratio, Magnevane technology also boosts torque. Magnevane powered motors generate an increase in torque of at least 20% over similar sized motors using existing technology.

Zero Mechanical Parts

Magnevane rotors uses zero mechanical parts to press the vanes against the stator cylinder and the magnetic force is guaranteed for dozens of years. This means that the usual wear and tear of springs and pins happening on common devices, simple doesn't exist on our technology. Only vanes require change at service intervals.

No Fatigue on High-Low Temperature Cycles

Conventional air motors using mechanical devices as springs or equivalent are subject to fatigue on constant hot and cold cycles environments. Magnevane’s technology is suitable for those temperature variation cycles as magnets increase their strength as the temperature moves away from the ambient temperature, either up or down.

Unlimited Mounting Positions

Due to the magnetic vane position system, Magnevane enabled motors can be mounted on every single position, as gravity does not affect it on anyway.
